Hey there…. Its been a VERY long time since I’ve written a blog post. It has kinda taken a back seat since October 2018 (oops!), partly because I started back to university and life got super busy and partly because I have just been rubbish at being consistent with it. I think I was trying to stretch myself across quite a few topics which made me struggle with what to actually write about, so I’ve decided to minimise it down to fashion and lifestyle.

I know I’m late to the party with my new year’s resolutions, but it is still January, (feels like its lasting FORRREVVVEERRR) so I feel it is warranted way to enter back into the blogging world since my break.

I made myself 3 resolutions this year, and I think they are all pretty achievable,

1. Read more books.

A lot like others, I read books on holidays and then for the rest of the year it consists of social media reading lol. I do really enjoy reading especially non-fiction books so 2019 is going to be the year of reading for me. I’ve already read two books so I’m feeling like I’m doing a pretty good job. I’ve even took the liberty of creating a lists of books I plan to read in the future aswell, thought I would share some of them with you as they all look pretty amazing and perfect for non-fiction lovers.

Can all be purchased via amazon.

2. Go on walks.

This sounds super simple, I know. But over the Christmas period, I went on a few walks to blow away the cobwebs of xmas boozing and binging and I really enjoyed them, I left my phone at home and just enjoyed the time breathing in the fresh air whilst walking the dogs and chatting away to the husband.

3. Ditch the scales!

This is my FAVOURITE resolution. Late last year, I decided that I didn’t want to weigh myself anymore and live my life by numbers. Of course, this lasted all of a couple of weeks and then I was back on them having weekly weigh ins, which to put it frankly, made me feel like crap. I find, for me, it constitutes to a bit of obsessive behaviour and just makes me feel bad if it’s not the number I wana see so, for 2019 I’ve decided to use how my outfits and clothes feel as non-scale victories rather than by a number on the scale. I already feel this has had a massively positive effect for me and helped me with my body confidence. Thought I’d share with you some fab Instagram accounts that promote body confidence, they are freakin great!
