8 smaller businesses that I am LOVING right now!

Recently, one of my favourite past times has become searching for independent smaller businesses in the world of Instagram. It started when I found a small business that had Disney themed stock, which I will talk about in this post, and then just escalated from there and now I just LOVE exploring the world of small businesses and more importantly buying from them because it makes me feel like my money is going to people who are working damn hard in their strive for success! SMALL BUSINESSES DESERVE THE RECOGNITION AND SUPPORT SO HERE’S SOME OF ME FAV’S THAT YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT 😊
1. Bishop Please
I have been loving this little business that is run by couple, Bethan and Adam. They started out making cards initially and have now branched our further creating pins and stickers.
One of the main reasons that I love them is because they create Disney themed pins and cards which are so cute and for such affordable prices. I think these guys do some perfect little gifts for stocking fillers at Christmas for Disney lovers! GO CHECK THEM OUT AND SHOW THEM SOME LURRVVVEE.

2. Elephant Bum
London based company who do t-shirts, sweatshirts, pins, accessories and even clothing for little ones! They have some really cute designs and some empowering prints that really scream girl power. My favourite design of theirs is the ‘why bloody not’ logo and I recently purchased the pin version of it- super fast delivery, great quality and a cute hand written note inside!
3. Tiki Candle Company
A firm Disney favourite here guys. They create Disney inspired candles and they are insane. I recently ordered the ‘main street bakery’ one. It smells amazing and really brings back memories of being in the Disney parks. They have such a wide range of scents- churros, poison apple, the west wing and sooooooo many more! These candles are a MUST buy for any Disney lover, hell, they are a must buy even if you’re not a Disney lover, they smell amazing and give you all the cosey vibes!
1. Teecqo
Another Disney business here hunssss. They specialise in embroided clothing and accessories. Most of their items feature a Disney character embroided on them. I have recently ordered from these guys but unfortunately don’t want to mention what I bought as it’s a Christmas present (yes, ive already started my shopping lolzz) but can honestly say that the quality of the clothing is great. They are always bringing in new products and well, I just really don’t think im doing them the justice they deserve here so go see for yourself!

5. Ellie and Mimi Store
Another company specialising in embroided slogan tees and bags. Their shop on etsy features some of their amazing designs with some really great quotes. But if you don’t like what they already have to offer then you can request a custom order, which means you can have whatever you bloody want written on a t-shirt or a bag. I think this is a great idea because slogan tee’s have definitely hit the fashion industry with a bang this year but you can’t always find one with the slogan you want. Not everyone wants to wear a t-shirt that says taco’s and tattoos, so this business is your perfect alternative.

6. Choccolottie
A fairly new discovery for me but an amazing one! Based in Kent, this business creates unique and exciting chocolate treats. They literally make my mouth water just looking at them on their Instagram feed. I’m a huge chocolate lover so this was such a gem of a find! They are the perfect business to order from if your looking for something special and personalised for a birthday or something a bit different for Christmas presents than your standard box of lindtt chocolates. I will definitely be investing for the festive season!

7. Old English Company
So, this business is the dogs bollocks. They stock so much good stuff its untrue! From pins (bit obsessed with anywhere that sells pins lolzz) and cards to stationary and prints. Their designs are super cute and super relatable e.g. pin that says ‘cant adult today’- definitely me when hungover! Their prints have a really simple and minimal feel so perfect for adding some home décor to your house without it being too overbearing!

8. The Paperpress Ireland
I love this brand soooo much! They make custom, cool designs for adults and kids. They have cutest shit EVERRRR on here! For example- their family sweater sets! These are amazing, although I don’t have any children of my own yet, this type of thing is absolute goals for when I do! Their stock includes, lounge wear, tee’s, pants, sweatshirts and kids tee. They have a really wide range of designs featuring loads of different quotes which people will really be able to relate to! Catering for such a wide audience aswell, whether you’re a 19 year old student or 30 years old with two kids and hectic lifestyle!

JUST A SIDE NOTE....
You don’t just have to buy from small businesses to make an impact on them, liking their posts, engaging with their social media platforms and sharing them with friends and families is also another form of amazing support and recognition!
