Todays blog is a little different to the usual but something I really hope people will LOVE reading. Last week I was having a bit of stress about moneyyyyy (as we all do) & got me thinking- ‘’I miss being a kid’’ and that then got me thinking about everything I used to love about being a kid and what I bloody miss about it, I think a lot of people can relate to a few of these!
1. Stopping off at the post office after school and grabbing a little paper bag & stuffing it full of penny sweets to then induce yourself into a sugar coma once you got home whilst watching Lizzie Mcguire on the Disney Channel.

2. Binge playing the sims during the school holidays because that was your sole responsibility in life! Playing for hours on end mother loading the crap out of it, designing your dream home and constantly worrying that a robber might appear whilst you’re on fast forward mode allowing him (or her) to rob your new plasma screen TV- ohhh the devastation. 3. Having an intense photoshoot with your best mate on a Saturday night sleepover using the webcam. Taking about 500 photos which absolutely included atleast 320 of them wearing facemasks your mum picked up at boots for you, that make your face dry and cause breakouts.

4. Going shopping with your mum on the weekend, having a nosey in tammy girl and being absolutely buzzing off your tits because your mum treats you to the newest halter neck top that you definitely must have for the next school disco. Image from -
5. Having a packet of chewing gum at school and feeling like the absolute don because everyone wanted one from you. ‘’Can I have a chuddy?’’
6. Putting on star studded shows with your siblings for your parents on a Saturday night after rehearsing all day. Featuring outfit changes, dance routines and spectacular versions of your favourite songs by steps or Sclub 7.
7. DISNEY CHANNEL! Ok, already mentioned this one, I know. But i'm talking proper old school Disney. That’s so raven, Hannah Montana, The suite life of Zack and Cody.. god the list is endless. These TV programmes were top notch and you definitely had seen every episode atleast twice. Gives me all the nostalgia when I think about these shows!

8. The magic of everything. The unbearable excitement you felt on Christmas eve knowing that santa would be arriving that night. Running down the stairs screaming because the tooth fairy had been and utterly baffled at the fact that you didn’t hear, or feel your pillow being lifted up. Feeling like the luckiest kid alive because the easter bunny stopped off at your house and delivered all that chocolatey goodness!
9. Looking through the argos catolouge and circling everything you wanted for Christmas.
10. Using limewire to download all your favourite music, whilst completely destroying your parents computer with viruses from illegal downloads. Then proceeding to burn your top 10 songs onto a CD to play in the car on the journey to school each morning and naming it ‘’Zoe’s playlist’’.
11. Having no responsibility. As a kid you have no cares in the world. No bills to pay, no jobs to do, no-one to please or tolerate. Life is bliss.

12. THE FOOD. OMG, I miss the food I used to eat as a kid SO DAMN MUCH, turkey twizzlers (controversial) a definite crowd pleaser for me my brother & sister! Frubes, ice gems, fruit winders, rainbow drops- so many versatile snacks that I don’t think would, now, be acceptable for a 25 year old women to whip out during her lunch break at work.. meh. 13. Going to ASDA! Back in the day I used to love going to ASDA because the dairy and egg section was so much fun! PRESSING THE COW BUTTON TO HEAR IT MOOO!! OMG SO MUCH NOSTALGIA.

14. & Finallyyyyy... The bedroom décor- having groovy chick bedding, an inflatable bubble chair in the corner of your bedroom and beaded curtains in the doorway (which would be tangled 99.9% of time). SUCH A VIBE. Image from-
I WANNA BE A KID AGAIN, ADULT LIFE IS NO FUN. Lolz Peace out!
